About the product

Biatain Fiber is a soft gelling fiber indicated for moderate to highly exuding acute and chronic wounds.

With low shrinkage and high absorption, Biatain Fiber effectively manages exudate by staying in shape and reduces exudate pooling to lower the risk of infection and maceration¹.

¹ Coloplast data on file 2024. Based on bench testing data. The information presented does not indicate antimicrobial effectiveness of the dressing and may not be indicative of clinical performance. Exudate pooling is one of the known risk factors for wound infections, reducing dead space reduces the risk of developing an infection.

Product description

Low shrinkage

Biatain Fiber stays in shape to minimize dead space and reduce the risk of infection¹. It forms a strong cohesive gel to allow for easy, one-piece removal².

High absorption

Biatain Fiber effectively absorbs and retains high volumes of exudate, reducing exudate pooling to lower the risk of infection and maceration.
